Pillar Formation

Totally 8 pillars in TPM and it is given below.

To successfully implement TPM, we must establish the pillars and circles. This document will outline the common presentation format for pillars, detailing the necessary activities and providing a step-by-step implementation guide. The example provided here focuses on JH, but the format applies to all pillars.

Slide 1:

This slide introduces the initial activity of the pillar, which may be JH, QM, KK, etc. It also includes the name of the pillar head, who serves as the chairman, the individual presenting this PowerPoint, and the date of the presentation.

Slide 2 :

This slide outlines the action points from the consultant's most recent visit, detailing who is responsible for each item and providing an update on their progress, including whether they have been completed.

Slide 3:

This slide outlines the complete index of our presentation. We will go through each point individually.

Background:

This slide will outline the index topics individually, starting with the background. This section reviews the benchmarking from the previous financial year. It is essential to establish targets for the current fiscal year based on last year's performance, as this is crucial for the implementation of any pillar. Please keep in mind that all of these concepts and terms are related to the JH pillar.

Aim And Objectives :

This slide outlines the aims and objectives of the JH pillar.

KMI,KPI and KAI:

This slide outlines the vision and mission statements for the pillar, along with the Key Management Indicators (KMI), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Key Activity Indicators (KAI) relevant to the entire pillar.

KMI - Key management Indicator.
KPI  - Key performance Indicator.
KAI - Key activity Indicator.

Benchmark And Target Setting:

We should establish benchmarks for our key performance indicators. Based on these benchmarks, we can then set specific targets and plan our activities accordingly.

Pillar Structure :

This structure is built on foundational pillars including a chairman and a vice chairman for each pillar. Each circle will have its own members, along with supporting members designated for every pillar.

Roles And Responsibility:

To ensure a successful implementation, it's essential to clearly assign roles and responsibilities for the pillar chairman, pillar members, and supporting members.

Master Plan:

Next, we need to establish our master plan. Without proper planning, activities won't be executed effectively. It's essential for all pillar members to be familiar with the master plan for their respective pillars.

Methodology:

It’s crucial to carry out the activities effectively. This guide outlines the process in a clear, step-by-step manner.

Activities:

Next, we should highlight the activities completed thus far, focusing on the contributions of both pillar and supporting members.

KPI & KAI - Target Vs Actual:

After completing the activities, we need to evaluate the results against the targets we initially established. This assessment will help us determine if any adjustments are necessary moving forward based on those results.

Future Plan:

Based on the results, it's important to highlight the improvement activities we plan to implement moving forward. Therefore, our upcoming initiatives will begin with this future plan.
